Once you’re finished your application, you’ll need to schedule an appointment with one of the editing faculty for advisement. Print out the email confirming your application, and bring the printout to your meeting with the faculty advisor.

  • To which are you applying for?
  • Please include your first and last name as it appears in the school's records.
  • Please include the number you would prefer to be contacted at.
  • We will send you an email confirmation that you have finished this application. This email will also be used in the future to keep you informed of events, job opportunities, etc.
  • You must read the information located on the Editing Program page prior to submitting this application. Go HERE (http://linguistics.byu.edu/editing-program/) to go back to the editing program page.
  • After you have submitted this application, you will need to meet with a faculty advisor, who will discuss the application with you and sign the application form so you can submit it to the advisement center. Faculty advisors are assigned based on the first letter of your last name. Below, please check the box next to the appropriate professor. After submitting your application, please make an appointment to meet with the professor. *Matt Baker is not available during the summer, please see another one of our faculty advisors.
*it is recommended to meet with an advisor before taking Elang 350.  The minor is to be declared before taking this course. ** please print out the email confirmation and meet with a faculty advisor.  Have them sign your printed document and take it down to advisement to declare the minor.
