
Course Objectives
- Students will complete their thesis research or MA project development and
make a public presentation of their work.
- Students will be able to demonstrate their ability to understand, summarize,
and critique the research of others by (a) giving an oral presentation based
on a published research report, (b) leading a class discussion on that report,
and (c) submitting your own written report based on (a) and (b).
- Students will prepare for career paths in TESOL by completing a professional
portfolio and making a presentation to the class on teaching, testing, materials
development and/or research skills.
