In a few weeks you'll need to turn in 7 bibliographic citations from either the MLA Periodicals Index or Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts, dealing with a particular topic that you have chosen. A good place to get topic ideas is from the book Projects in Linguistics which is available on two hour reserve at the circulation desk of the library. Ask for call # P126 .W73 1998. Each chapter in the book has a section entitled Projects and there are 250 to choose from or modify according to your interests. In order to annotate the articles for the upcoming assignment, you will need to read them first. |
