An internship is a practical work experience that synthesizes knowledge and skills learned in your BYU Linguistics and English Language classes and will enhance learning about your field.

The Internship Coordinator for the Linguistics  Department is Dr. Nancy Turley.  After you have arranged an internship, here are the steps for signing up for  internship credit:

– complete the Pre-Approval form and return it to Dr. Turley    Linguistics 399R Internship Pre-Approval Form

– submit the student internship application on intern.byu.edu

– meet with Dr. Turley to discuss the academic requirements for an internship
