Introduction (lesson, activities): The teacher will put a dialogue on the projector. As she stars saying the dialogue she will show the cue cards that she has for every sentence. Ask the teacher goes over the dialogue the student have to repeat. To make personal and to check for understanding the teacher will ask a student what is your name if students understand they will answer with their mane. *Dialogue: Lisa: Hi! Wendy: Hi! Lisa : What is your name ? Wendy: My name is Wendy. What is your name? Lisa: My name is Lisa. Wendy: Nice meeting you. Lisa: Nice meeting you. Wendy: Bye Lisa: See you * The reason way I have dialogue is because dialogue help the students see the language in a context. Repeating the dialogue will help the student hear the pronunciation. Greetings: These is more vocabulary that we would be learning. Options to use when students are introducing each other. If the student have options they will have more vocabulary to built up. Hi! See you How are you? Hallo! Bye! How are your doing? Where do you live? What is your telephone number? The dialogue will have numbers at the top of each word the from one to whatever number it is necessary. The teacher after many repetition and using the cue card will call a student say a number and the student will read the word from the transparency. Teacher: One: Mario Student: Hi! This activity will help the students start reading in English from the first day. Because they will look at the word and then read. The cue card are pictures or visual aids to help students understand the dialogue. If they do not understand written on the projector they can understand by the pictures. The cue card will help the students who learn visually. Practice: Students will work on pairs, and will be ask to find the following information about two people in the class. What is your name?______________ Where do you live?_______________ What is your telephone number?__________ This activity will not only help the students practice by them selves, but it will also allow them to have the phone number of other students so that when they can't come to class they can call the other students to get notes and homework.
