Wendy Baker graduated from the Department of Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with an emphasis in Second-Language Acquisition and Teacher Evaluation (SLATE). Her research interests include first- and second-language acquisition, speech perception and production, psycholinguistics, and World Englishes.
