What have you done since graduation: Taught English as a Second Language at PACE International Academy and Utah Valley University. I’m currently working toward my PhD in Sociolinguistics, with an emphasis in Forensic Linguistics, at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Future goals/plans: Be a professor and consult as an expert linguist. Advice for future students: Do internships. They’ll help in getting your foot in the door for a good job in the future. Learn to be a good writer. Develop good relationships with your professors and seek their mentoring. Think critically; ask why.
