Jack: Do you know anybody in Los Angeles, Fred?
Fred: Yes. I know a lot of people in Los Angeles.
Jack: Do you know anybody in Moscow?
Fred: Yes, I do. I know quite a few people in Moscow.
Jack: Do you know anyone in Calcutta?
Fred: Yes, I do. I have several friends in Calcutta.
Jack: Fred, how much do you weigh?
Fred: I'd rather not tell my weight.
Jack: Good-bye, Fred. I must go now.
Fred: Good-bye, Jack. See you next week.

STOP! Identify the teaching point(s) and the problem(s) before going on

Jack: What a wonderful vacation!
Fred: Yes. London, Athens, and Cairo my favorite cities.
Jack: Do you know anybody in London?
Fred: Yes, I know a lot of people there.
Jack: Oh? Do you know anyone in Athens?

Jack: Well. How about Cairo?
Fred: I have several very good friends at the university there.
