Choose whether the contraction means "had" or "would", and write it under the contraction.

  • FV: "I’d like you to give me an opinion on my project."

    MV: "I’d be happy to…Hmm I’d have done this part a little differently."

    FV: "Ah, my partner’s part….It’d be better if she‘d done her share…Believe

    me, I’d rather work alone."

    MV: "You’d better tell the teacher about that….Did you get today’s assignment done?"

    FV: Oh, I’d read it before."

    MV: "I haven’t yet."

    FV: Oh, You’d better, We might have a quiz.. ..Why didn’t you, you had all weekend."
